Two films are going to be screened this Diwali and all eyes are on these two films slated for release within a few days these are GOLMAAL RETURNS and FASHION. Those associated with the two films would be hoping that the festival of lights spreads light in their lives also.

GOLMAAL RETURNS is vital for Ajay Devgan because the talented actor has had a spate of flops in recent times [CASH, RAMGOPAL VARMA KI AAG, HALLA BOL, MEHBOOBA; SUNDAY was ordinary in some circuits, while U ME AUR HUM did well at big city plexes] and GOLMAAL RETURNS could prove to be the decisive moment in his career.

Bebo too is hoping to strengthen her status with GOLMAAL RETURNS. Her only release this year [TASHAN] sank at the box-office and even though she’s riding high on popularity charts, she needs a solid Hit to stay on the throne. Her competitor and contender to the throne, Katrina Kaif, has already had great innings.

The worst affected is Priyanka Chopra. The industry labels anyone a hapless if they have a spate of flops to their credit. And Priyanka has had flops after flops more than any actress this year. Katrina Kaif looks hot and is the most wanted girl in the industry mainly for her roles of a girlfriends to big heroes, which she carries of with elan. But the beautiful actress wants to do different kind of roles now especially the role of a mentally retarted girl.

She reveals, ” Playing a girlfriend is just one aspect of my acting and I have a long way to go. I still haven’t done a truly intense romantic film. I want to do a dark film, play a mentally imbalanced girl. It’s not my style to go public about the films I have refused. On hindsight, I may have refused a great role, but I have always gone by my instinct. If I feel that it may not work for me, I don’t do it. I have made a conscious effort to be accepted by the family audience. So far, it’s worked well for me. Slowly, but surely, you will see a different Katrina.

Well we are surely awaiting with bated breath to see some more expressions on you Katrina as well as different avatars. :)

The actress justifies her big price, saying, “I charge what I think I am worth and if people are willing to pay me that much, it must mean that they think that I’m worth it too. No one affords risks like investing in actors they don’t really believe in.”

Well the girl is quite right and with her glamour and good looks she has recently bagged a prize catch - a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Shah Rukh Khan the current baadshah of Bollywood and the new King Akshay Kumar are all set to come together in their first movie together in 2009.

SRK and Akki got to meet recently at Sabina Khan’s birthday bash, the duo kept talking for more than an hour.

An onlooker reveals, “The two actors haven’t come face-to-face in a long time, so they haven’t had a chance to sort things out. But that changed at the party. They talked at length and realised that some mischief makers were at work. It was mostly SRK who was doing the talking and Akki listening. The discussion was also of misunderstandings being deliberately created between both. Then they discussed the possibility of doing a film together. SRK invited Khiladi Kumar for an evening of games at his home, Mannat. An invitation to the Khan residence is a sign of acceptance in his close group.”

The source adds, “When curious guests wanted to find out what the two actors talked about, SRK got irritated. Don’t be surprised if they produce a film together and star in it. It will be the hottest project even before it goes on the floors.”

Another source explains, “Shah Rukh already has a project in mind for himself and Akshay. The film will see both of them playing cops who have different ways of policing. One uses the legal way while the other will go to extreme lengths to punish criminals. Shah Rukh hopes to start this film early in 2009.”

SRK and Akki together definitely will be a hot combination and paying 100 bucks to see them will be totally paisa vasool.

SRK has finally broken the long silence that he had maintained over his and Sallu’s much publicized fight.

SRK speaking to a leading daily said, “It’s ok. There is not much common between us, we think differently, we speak differently. We have spent a good time together. But with time, that fact has got blurred.”

When he was quizzed about reviving his friendship with Sallu, he said, “We are happy in our worlds. If we come together it is good. If we don’t it’s even better. We are not friends, but it doesn’t imply we are enemies.”

SRK also added,“I think like a father, while Salman thinks like a child!”

Well SRK then be a good father and forgive your child (Sallu) and let bygones be bygones.

Not only Bosco, but boyfriend Saif Ali Khan is also quite impressed by his girlfriend, when he got to see Kareena live in action when he dropped in on the sets to see her.

A friend of Bebo reveals, “He liked it so much that he wished he was part of the number too.”
